NEW SYSTEM: Max power for stock alt w/o cap
I'm in the process of designing my new system and I need to know what is the maximum amount of power I can draw without the use of a cap. I'm interested in running my whole system (pair of 6 1/2" Kappas and 1 12" IDQ) on a Pheonix Gold Ti500.4 (if I decide to use one amp) -- OR -- (if I decide to use two amps) JL 300/2 + JL 250/1.
Will either of these two setups work will my stock electrical system?
Here are my current plans for my system (comments are welcome -- I'm still buying parts )
Components: 6 1/2 Infinity Kappas
Sub: Image Dynamics IDQ12 v2 - D4
Amp: Pheonix Gold Ti500.4
I have not purchased my Amp or Sub yet.
I plan on running the rear speakers (I have Alpine 6 1/2s there now) off the head unit.
I want a great sounding system, with some bass, but I don't want to upgrade my electrical system (alt.,cap,etc..)
Thanks

if it's all class a/b power and you don't crank your system 24/7 about 700wrms is plenty safe..I would reccomend a cap though just to help out with headlight dimming..(a cap does not allow you to run more power..it's basically a buffer to stabilize what you have)....
with both setups you have listed your more than allright..
