Well I was saving up for wheels and my parents were gonna help me get them.. but things just don't work the way you want them to if ya know what I mean.. so I'ma just go ahead and take the money I got and get a system... I'm going to get a Pioneer H/U either that one or the DEH-P9300.. Then get some Alpine Tweets and 6x9s with an Amp... then get 2 10in Subs with another amp and just bridge them? what do you guys thing? does that sound aight? Don't know much about audio so please any suggestions.

My only beef with that unit, and all Pioneers in genereal, is if you are going to use the MP3 capability of the deck, it has long pauses between the MP3s. 3-5 seconds of delay between each song on random or sequential. If this doesn't bug you, I say it is a nice deck

Just remember that the DEH-P840MP from Pioneers Premier line is a little better. I'de get that instead. Virtually the same, but more refined. That's what I have my eyes on.

I got my Pioneer 8400 about a month ago and it is a super HU!!! I put Pioneer 1667s in the doors, I did not change out the rear or tweets on my EX because the rear is excellent with the stock Pioneer speakers and the stock tweets stayed so I could get a little twang in my music (Treble). I dynamatted everything and threw in 2-12" JL Audio Subs and two Rockford Fosgate Amps (500X and 200M). And Honestly, this sound system set-up is the best I've ever heard no matter what type of my ecclectic CD collection I throw in!!! Go by your personal preference and good advice about how to make your personal preference happen in your car!!! Good luck and have fun with it!!!
