alright, i know pyramid has a bad rep, but i was at the flea market and i saw these component speakers 6 1/2" CK657.. they say 400 watts rate power.. and they were only $70 canadian so i took the risk. are these any good? or should i try to return them or sell them to someone else?

how much us is that if its more than $20 you got screwed. pyramid sells $hitty stuff not even worth buying.

the 400 watts ratted power is for another pyramid amp. if you stuck a quality 75 watt amp on those they would fry. i would try and take them back.

Really not worth it... Pyramid 400 watts is ILS(If Lightning Strikes) Pyramids 400Wrmsx4 amps have been bench tested at 63Wrmsx4 at over 13% THD.. The Speakers have a 3/8" Voice coil.. that's the same size as the OEM speaker has..it's just numbers they slap on there without Merit..and in the fine print you'll see..(Can handle 400 watts peak for a 2 second perriod, using a 3khz unclipped sinewave)

thanks guys.... well i'm gonna return them.. they have a no refund policy but i guess i'll exchange them and a bit of money and pick up a decent used amp.

pyramid bought out lanzar so all lanzar is pretty much crap aswell. if you want a good set of components with out really breaking the bank go to sounddomain.com and look for the crystals.
