Aftermarket Radio

I was wondering if i could still buy a keyless entry remote from the honda site and use it after i already installed an aftermarket radio.
I have a 2004 Honda Civic Coupe EX.

Re: Aftermarket Radio

The radio is not connected in any way, shape, or form, to the keyless entry or the alarm system.
The original radio has its own anti-theft system.

The remote fob:

You need part #16, it comes as a pair of transmitters. You just have to program them.

Re: Aftermarket Radio

USA market EX is factory equipped with keyless. You just need the fobs.

Not sure if a Canadian market car is the same.
