- i recently bought a simple system for my car from my cousin. its 2 12" mtx 4000s and an mtx amp 6250d( i think that's the model name). i hooked it up to my new alpine 7875 cd player(like mr 2k1civic.com)
- i set the gains, but now everytime that any song hits a good bass note it makes the cd skip.
- any solutions besides turning my gains down. it hits pretty hard.

eh same problem here... someone told me to get a better aftermarket head unit :/

Bad HU Install.. when the bass hits. your Hu's bouncing. It was not installed properly and is shaking around and banging on it;s mounts.
