I've installed a half-dozen car alarms in my life without issue, until now... I wanted to add keyless entry to my car, so I picked up a basic system. The Avital 2101L. I've got everything hooked up perfectly, except I can't get the doors to lock and unlock?! The lights flash, the horn honks, the led comes on, but the locks don't work!

I've t-tapped into the white/blue and white/green wires behind the drivers kick panel, but I can't seem to figure out which wire to hook up.

Here's the wiring breakdown for my system: (ignore the last column)

Are you using the common output pin 30 to connect to the car wires and obviously connecting pin 87 inputs to ground? The door lock wires should be in a gray plug above the drivers kick.

No I hadn't. I'll try this after work tonight. I guess I figured the system would use the black ground wire...

Green/black to white/blue
Blue/black to white/green

Violet/black to ground
Violet to ground
