L.E.D. Windshield Washer Nozzle
L.E.D. Windshield Washer Nozzle
Today I went out and picked up a Tuned brand L.E.D. High Pressure Windshield Washer Nozzle kit. Theres electrical, obviously, but there was no instructions in how to install them.
I understand the nozzle installation part, but not the electrical.
Is there any specific spot they need to be wired into? Or is there some kind of electrical guide online for a 2004 honda civic coupe?

Run a wire from battery positive to a switch you mount in the passenger cabin. Then run a wire from the switch to the nozzles. Then run a wire to body ground from the nozzles.
If you're worried about burning up the switch(most switches won't take 12V constantly) then wire it up as a relay circuit. There are several DIYs on how to set up a relay circuit in the forums and tons of info on the net.
BTW: Be very, very careful where you turn those on as they are illegal in most states.
@7thgenmarathon: Seriously, you haven't seen them before? They've been around at least ten years. I got a ticket for them in 2000 or 2001.

I have these on my Honda mine are called Cobra Eyes, however I had the same issue as you do now and had to have a pro installer hook them up. Any good stereo install shop should be able to do this. When you do have them installed be sure to adjust the spray nozzels or your wiper fluid could shoot clean over your car and land on the trunk.

lazlong,
I have also been aware of these nifty gadgets and have only recently moved somwhere where they are not minded by the sherrifs or local cops. So its kind of a new thing for me and others as most are not to aware of where they can get away with them. As such you just dont see them that often.
