Ok I'm about to go ahead with a custom DIY trunk set up, gonna give this thing a shot. But as far as sound deadening goes, what can I use to go over the wood? I know a lot of you get that grey carpeting from sound places, but I wanna use vinyl for the looks...so will vinyl deaden the sound at all and make it sound tight, or should i use the carpet then wrap the vinyl over that?

Dynamat costs mondo $$ for nuthin..it's good tho..but too $$$$.

Buy a few rolls of Raamat..your in the $US so price can't be beat at $99 a roll (62.5sq.ft) Also Vynul will not deaden anything. it's too thin and the vinyl you'd be using is VERY hard..vinyl looks really cool. That's about it [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]
