blown fuse when hardwiring radar detector!!

blown fuse when hardwiring radar detector!! Hey guys, i am trying to hardwire a few of my accessories, however i came into a problem, both my interior lights ive added and radar detector have fuses in the 12v cig plug, i made the amateur move of going forth anyway and connect the hot wire to my radio fuse, then grounded the other, then i blew my radio fuse. How can i bypass this fuse in the cigarette plug and hardwire it? thanks!
