Install help needed
I got the door panel off but how do i take out the stock speaker from inside the stock plastic mount? Will i NEED to use this with my other speakers since it is a fit for the pre-molded holes in the door? Or could i just buy the scoshe speaker spacers and use them in place of the stock speaker mount? I NEED HELP!

Rep Power: 0 you need to buy or make some spacers. My infinity kappy 5.25 compontents needed an inch of space added. MDF is best, or plywood i've been told.
I just installed mine yesterday, took 10 hours to install including a new amp and all the wires. Good luck.

Rep Power: 0 the stock speaker stays in it's plastic housing.. it's glued to it and the VOice coild is as well..you cannot use it as a spacer. buy the Scoche Speaker spacer..or make one..
