Install help needed

I got the door panel off but how do i take out the stock speaker from inside the stock plastic mount? Will i NEED to use this with my other speakers since it is a fit for the pre-molded holes in the door? Or could i just buy the scoshe speaker spacers and use them in place of the stock speaker mount? I NEED HELP! Ready to order my kappa 60.3...

you need to buy or make some spacers. My infinity kappy 5.25 compontents needed an inch of space added. MDF is best, or plywood i've been told.

I just installed mine yesterday, took 10 hours to install including a new amp and all the wires. Good luck.

the stock speaker stays in it's plastic housing.. it's glued to it and the VOice coild is as well..you cannot use it as a spacer. buy the Scoche Speaker spacer..or make one..

Cheers
