Lightbulb LCD for CarPC

hey Guys,

I have a 10.4" lcd touchscreen... that i attach using the Pyle gooseneck....now if i want to chage the setting (had it for over a year.. need a new look) what is the max size of lcd that i can go for without having to move the climate control buttons, and the A/C etc. butttons.. Obviously i am looking to put in the 2din slot.. have never worked with bondo/fiberglass but there is always a first for something..

thanks for the input..

Re: LCD for CarPC

I have a 7in Lilliput monitor in my car. I didn't want the flip out screens so I bought just the monitor and fiberglass it on.I am sure you can go a little bigger but the 7in is a perfect fit 10in is a little to big.

Re: LCD for CarPC

yea 7" will fit easier...however, if u really wanted to, you can fit a 10 in there but it will require some good molding skill of the screen into the dash

Re: LCD for CarPC

Why do you want to watch a video while driving I think it would be safer if you watch your videos at home, at least there you can get a 50'' or better setup. If your using it to navagate or select autio then thats fine a 7'' will be just fine. I hope your not the kinda persion who watches movies while going down the road, I cut those people off just to be a dick. You guys might not agree with me but I think that there is no place for movies in a car unless you are moving. That includes the back seat...
