It seems like I change my mind every other day on what I want to do with my subs (mostly b/c of Outlaw).... Originally, I was planning on getting another 12w3 (that makes 2) but now I'm not so sure... I've got a RF Power 500.2. Now I'm at a point where I'm considering going for eclipses. Should I just get one 12"? There's a possibility that I can get my hands on a RF Power 1000.2 for relatively cheap, so should I go for that and get two 12"? Or should I just stick to getting another 12w3? I remind you all that money is a big issue (getting rims and tires, dropping, etc) , so I can't go too overboard. Thanks all.

mostly cause of outlaw? as in SPL comp? just get the biggest amp you can afford, and drop on cheap subs, put in a huge box and tune right. they will get loud.

pressurized, NSPL world champion took $89 subs and hit 155........

90% install, 10% equipment.

I'm more concerned with SQ and low end than with SPL. It's still important, and I do want lots of it, but not as important as the other two. Ive just heard about how much better eclipses are and blah blah blah, even though I've never heard them myself.

First off don't get an RF 1000.2 it's a class A/B amp and will draw more current than your electrical system can safely handle for long perionds of time...if you're looking for Sound quality and low end extension and still crank out SPL get a single 12" Eclipse 8700 series sub and drop in the reccomended ported enclosure..it will Play alot louder than an Eclipse alum will.. will play lower..but at a small sacrifice in SQ..

well it's more SPL than a single eclipse alum sealed.. better off going with the pair of 12W3's ..
