Alarm Problems

Hey Everyone
My civic has an aftermarket alarm system which disables my factory keyless entry. How do I disable my aftermarket alarm system so my factory keyless entry system works again? I hate the cherpy sound. lol. let me know if you need any more info or pics. I can do my best to provide them.

What kind of Alarm is it? On some of them you can disable the chirps. If you have the Operation Manual, look in it.

Also, most aftermarket alarms have a silence function so that when you unlock/lock your car, you will hear only the lock actuator. Besides if you want to convert back to the factory alarm, it will most likely require you removing everything.

Another good thing about aftermarket alarms is that you can use just about any siren made by any company. If it's not the sound you want, look for another one and rewire the new siren for your alarm. More info is needed, however, if you want much more advice.
