connecting headrest screen up

hi guys i have bought a new dvd player today http://caraudiogiant.co.uk/shop/inde...&productId=267 and i also bought some inphase headrest screens http://www.caraudiodiscount.com/ivm7...r-p-11350.html ..i dont plan on using the dvd player that came with the screens but i connected the alpine HU up and it all worked fine except the screens.. they do turn on but i just have a blue screen and no picture ...from each screen i have a quite thick wire which connects into a black box ..on the black box there is 1 female rca type plug (video output) and also 4 wires - 1 red (live) 1 black (ground) 1 audio in and 1 video in ....obviously i have connected the live and ground up and then i connected the 2 yellow video in into a splitter which then i connected into the yellow plug on the aux output coming from the back of then HU but it didnt work so has anyone got any ideas? obviously im not connecting something up right ...anyway thanks for reading

Re: connecting headrest screen up

So you want the dvd in the alpine head unit to display on the other 2 screens? Is that what you are saying?

What black box is this? Is this something you got with the head unit or the screens?

Re: connecting headrest screen up

hi sorry if i was unclear ..yes i want the screens to display what the alpine HU is playing ...im not going to bother installing the dvd player i got with the screens ...as for the black box its a small black box about 2inch long by about 1inch wide it is part of the wiring for the screens obviously i got 2 of them 1 for each screen ...unfortunatly i cant get a photo of them as i have wired it all up behind my dash but i have made a bit of a drawing on paint so you can sort of see what i mean http://i448.photobucket.com/albums/q...n/blackbox.jpg
...so what i have done is connected both live's and both the earth's ..so that both screens have power ...but on my HU there only seems to be 1 yellow aux output so i connected both the yellow (video in) plugs from the screens to a splitter then connected that to the yellow aux output coming from the hu ..does that sort of make sense lol?
