Ok, so i was installing a double din screen
and i went to connect the parking brake wire to the power supply to the radio...and it shorted out and now it's on my side, i believe
checked all the fuses and everything but it won't power up, even connected the old radio and that one won't power up...any ideas???
the horn stays on now like my alarm is going off.
my turn signals don't work either now...

1. You were connecting something in your car with the battery terminals still connected? I hope you learned your lesson.
2. Just ground that wire, that's all it does when the parking brake is up anyway.

OK, so how did you remedy it? I looked in the fuse panel in the driver's side floorboard, and can't find a bad fuse. I also took some of the people's advice and disconnected the slice into the parking brake, grounded it to the body, and STILL came up blank. I seem to have everything working except the turn signal. PLEASE ADVISE!
