Im looking into this In dash touch screen from Pioneer. Does anyone currently or in the past have this in dash? want to know how they like it and if they are having any problems with it

Single DIN, is like those thin (standard head units), that are 180 x 50 (mm).
Double DIN, like the P4000, are exactly that, two DIN sizes, 180 x 100 (mm).

Im looking into this as well. I was playing with it at best buy and it doesnt look as nice in person as it does on the net. the colors are dull but for the price, i dont think you can beat it. still comes with all the necessary preouts so it makes it easy to hook up your different amps. pioneer may not be as trustworthy as car audio brands like alpine and jl audio but they sure made a good decision making this headunit. best part is, its alot cheaper than all the others, cept crappy brands like dual and jensen, and i love the fact it has the volume **** right on the face making it easier to control without sacrificing a ton of screen area.

o ya, got ya Do you kow how much custom work i will have to do? or is there a unit that is made for our cars to fit?

Im probably gonna have to go check it out at best buy myself to see if i like how the colors look also. For the price i might sacrifice. Dont know yet, and i also like how the it has all the preouts

it can all ready play the DVD's with out the USB, and if you want to watch them while driving, your gonna have to do a bypass for it

Yeah. There are double-din dash kits for the civic.
