[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG]I want to change the front speakers in my 2001 coupe front doors. I was wondering what space there
is back there, in the DIY section, the mounting depth is specified as 2 1/8 inches. The speakers I want to install
have a depth of 2 1/2 inches. What kind of room do I have to play with if I install spacers between the door frame
and the speaker. I don't want the speaker to rub against the inside of the door trim.

My Spaekrs have big magnets at 2 5/8" mounting depth.. If you make a baffle to the appropriate height and shave a little plastic off the grill on the door and you can fit pretty much any 6.5" woofer there is.. [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]
