I just wanna know what wet-up you have on your on-board audio entertainment system? E.g. Stereo Head Unit, speakers, subs, amps etc.. Also, please post the product brands you have installed, e.g. Pioneer, Kenwood, Alpine, Kicker etc....

I just want to have some ideas and maybe I can try and use them in the future. Thanks.

hey perfect..I had those same amps at one point.. PPI amps. specially the 21400 draws about 4 times more power than your electrical system can handle it's a very inneficient amp..so if your gonna run that amp.. You will in fact need a high output alternator without a doubt..

Here's what I have just finished installing in my car:

Kenwood 7 band EQ
Kenwood 6 disk changer(under driver's seat)
Cerwin-Vega Stealth components front and rear(6.5's)
Audiobahn digital cap
Kicker KX 300.4 amp powering the mids/Highs
Kicker KX 600.1 powering..
Kicker S12L5 Solo-Baric.

Still breaking in the sub, but so far sounds real sweet!

just a tip...you may want to wait to get a HU until you have at least tints and a good security system because having a HU stands out and says 'break into my car, i have cool $*it in it'. normally i wouldnt really think this would be true, but in the last month (at my school) i have had four friends that have had systems stolen from their cars. out of our group, i was the only one that didnt have my system stolen, and as well i am the only one without a HU, so you may want to keep that in mind, it will save you a lot of trouble, but of course you'll have to sacrifice some performance.

Looking around at monoblock amps for the 15, any suggestions?

How about component speakers up front.. [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG].. for the Eclipse Ti I'd say a Memphis St1000D would be a good match [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

- 2 x 12 Punch XLC subs ina bandpass box .... being replaced mid-summer with 12' HX2's in a sealed box so my amp can be used to its fullest potential
- 1 farad RF Power series capacitor with digital bar display
- RF HPC 6x9's
- RF FNX1614 components
- Pioneer Premier P-520 Head Unit
and as soon as the weather warms up and i can handle being outside for an extended period of time, i'll be putting in

- Fosgate punch 700X for my highs
- another 1 farad fosgate power series capacitor with a second digital bar display

and she sounds clean and goes REALLY loud....
I am looking at the new RF line of amps and am very intrigued though, but they are way too pricey, i dont want to wait on my subs any longer.........

if anybody wants to get stuff out of your car they're probably gonna go on and do it anyway
