Amp Question

I'm planning on buying two 12" Cerwin Vega HED Subs in the next week and i have a couple questions about them and the amp that i should get. I'm either going to get the US Acoustics 600x-D Amp 1 or the 800x-D Amp 2. My questions are: 1. Is it worth the extra $90 to get the 800x-D amp? if it was your money what would you do? 2. Would Single or Dual voice coil subs be appropriate for this setup? i don't know the effect of series or parallel wiring so if that effects it please don't ask me what i'm planning on doing. tell me what you would do please. Thank you all in advance for the advice.

Those are mono amps so you're getting two amps right? personally i'd get the cheaper one since your'e getting two.

if you want to stay with those brands get the single voice coils and run them in parallel. to make a 2 ohm load. get the 800d and you will be running 300 watts to each sub. right in the middle between rms and peak.

personally i would look into a different setup the amps pretty nice but at least consider different subs

Ditto.. but the subs are allright too.. but they're the best of the bargain subs..
