im looking for a bass **** so i can control my subwoofer and amp without having to go into my trunk. i have a 12" jbl sub and a pioneer GM-5200T amp. anyone know of a **** that will work with that amp?

just to help u out. its called a gain control ****, just so more people know what your talking about. sorry though, i dont know what would work with it. try contacting pioneer and see if they make one for their amp.

I don't think your amp is setup for a bass gain conrol ****. Every amp that I have ever seen with a bass gain control option, has what looks like a telephone connection where you plug in the cable. Crutchfield has some pretty good pictures of your amp, and I do not see any connection for the bass gain control. Pictures of your amp can be seen here:

Im going to go ahead and say you are probably better off without a gain **** in the cabin, because that will kep you from fiddling with it every 5 seconds or every other song. Gain is meant to be set at the loudest point you listen to music and can begin to hear distortion. If you adjust your gain to high, you are getting a alot more distortion and will drastically shorten the life of your speaker.

not all of them look like phone plugs. the one for my mtx thunder elite amp uses what looks like a headphone jack. so maybe yours is a different kinda too....i dunno though.

Why don't you just use the Bass controll on the HU or even the Fade. Fade it to the front Vocals > Bass fade it to the rear Bass > Vocals. Not the best solution but deff the cheapest.

Yeah depending on your deck, it may have Sub control. If it does, the GCN is sort of pointless. Just turn your sub level up and down on your HU. way cheaper
