Right now I have one JL 12w3 and a Fosgate Power 500.2 powering it. I'm considering getting another 12w3 and this enclosure and bridging the amp to power them at 4 ohms. This should be alright? Feedback is welcome!

sounds good whcih W3's you have dual 2's 4's or 6ohm subs?.. and JL enclosures cost way way way more that they are worth.. just buy an enclosure from a local shop..
Otherwise sounds pretty decent.. what do you have for the rest of your system. Subs are actually pretty unimportant in comparison.
Cheers

12w3d4's sealed... well depends.. want best possibly sound quality.. ebst SPL.. ebst low end extension, or the happy median between the 3?..
SPL: .83cu.ft for each sub.
SQ. 1.23cu.ft per sub.
Low end. 1.58 cu.ft
Best mix of the 3. 1.1cubes after sub displacement.
Cheers

Edit.. My Bad was plotting out the 10's oops
Here's for the 12's
1.6 cu.ft per chamber..for best mix...
Also call JL or email them..ask them what they reccomend.

SPL is sound pressure level.. (LOUDNESS)..SQ is sound quality.
Ports well..then it's a ported enclosure which follows diffrent rules...
go to JL audio tutorials..read through the various enclosure types and such..it'll give you some basic knowledge..

One more thing tho, my friend told me as a general rule, you should have a cap per 1000 watts. I have the fosgate power 500.2 as well as a fosgate punch 400.4 powering my interiors. Inside i have infinity kappa on the doors and pioneers in the back (which is next in replacing after dealing with the subs). I read all about alternators and caps, but will i need one after i add another 12w3? Thanks.

nobody even "needs a cap" but to even out minor dimming it's a good investment.. I guess you been reading mine and whiterabbits book lol..
onlinecarstereo has a great deal on Lighting audio strike series 1farad caps $89 shipped...these are about as good a cap as you can get.
