single subwoofer rca preout

my deck only has a single subwoofer rca preout. how would you go about hooking this up to an amp? buy a Y?

you said "an amp" which means one amp. you have one set of outs, what's the problem?

if you have ONE output, and ONE input on ONE amp then there is no problem, plug it in and problem solved. if you are running more then ONE amp, buy a short rca cable and run it from the OUTPUT on the first amp (if it has one) to the INPUT on the other amp.

^^^^ to clear this up so i dont sound retarded. yes i only have one amp and yes theirs only one sub output. that one sub output was a single meaning only one rca jack not two. i just bought a Y and used it to connect both RCA's to that one jack

if you run your amp in bridged mono, you should only need one.
