Are two amps better than one?

I just got my Infinity Kappa components for the front and am shopping for an amp to power them. My question is this.

I am running one sub, and will continue with that. Should I have seperate amps for the components and the sub, or will one 4 channel amp be okay? Will that even work?

Thanks.

Suggetions on cheap (25-350 retail, 150-220 ebay) amps would be great!

Would one setup be better for the electrical system than the other? And do you have any reasonably priced suggestions for me for a 4 channel amp to get this system up and running?

Thanks

Hmm by reasonable you mean like $3-400.. or by reasonable you mean like less than the cost of the 2 amps you woulda bought so $5-700?

Neither setup is really better for your electrical system..it all depends on the actual power the amps put out..

i mean reasonable as in 250-400 retain (meaning 200-300 ebay) I'm on a tight budget and dont want to just leave my 155 dollar kappa's sitting in the box forever.

thanks
