Ok guys i really need your help with this one. I was listening to music and then I heard static and then nothing. The amps turned off. I've checked the brain to the monitor and the remote wire with a volt meter and everything is good until it's hooked up to the amps. I'm running an Alpine MRD-500 and a MRV-F340. When I turn the car on, the amps turn on for a second and then shut off. Does anyone know what the heck is going on?

If I'm hearing you correctly you're losing voltage to the remote turn on inputs on both of your amplifiers. Installing a relay will probably fix your prob if that's the case.
