Did you install it using a spacer?
If not, then I suggest you buy a 1/2" or 1" spacer.
They are less than $20 a pair at your local shop or if you have the tool, make one.

Tried using a 1 inch spacer before and couldnt get door panel back on. ill look around for a 1/2 spacer. Also i took off that clear stuff to keep water out last week cuz i dynamated it today and i saw that all the wires had goten wet i guess cuz it rained. since i dynamated all the holes should that cover it?

Look in the back of the plastic door panels.
Trim off some of the plastic where the speaker grill is.
Look and you'll know what I'm talking about.

That should do the trick.

Ok, I have some infinity references (componenents) up front and all I did was take some 3/4 mdf and cut out my own spacer. It was really easy and did the job. Doesn't look to great, but I you could paint it or do whatever you needed though

I made a 1/2" spacer and that's what worked for me but I had the same issue with window obstruction as you did. It's real close so you don't need to add much space. 1" is definitely overkill.

If you haven't tried cutting some of the extra plastic out of the speaker cover thing then I would suggest trying that and using the biggest spacer that will fit, that worked for me, but if it doesn't really matter to you then just make sure your passengers go easy on the windows.

I just cut the center out of the old door speakers, screwed the new ones into the old speaker frame and soldered them to the old connector. They plug in and clip into the door like the stock ones
