Polyfill Page

Polyfill helps in sealed enclosures. Specially if you're enclosure is smaller than reccomended. What it actually does is causes the sound waves to travel around the polyfill, thus travelling a longer distance "fooling" your subs into thinking they are in a larger enclosure. But only for low end extension. It does not affect the overall clarity and tightness or bass response in any way. Just low end. In LARGE enclosures, like 7cu.ft plus it can be used to difuse 1/2 order standing waves which aren't that bad (won't cause distortion like full standing waves. but they do affect musicaly in very small ways [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]..
