so let me get this stra8..
So Im reading around the ice forum and see that rear speaker fittment is a problem.
Every thread i have read said they checked crutch field and they only show 2 sets of 6*9's. So i clicked one set. It being the Kappa 692.7i 2-way 6x9 Speakers and the mounting depth is Top-mount Depth 3-1/8"
Bottom-mount Depth 3-1/8"......and those fit my 02 coupe. Great!
So I went to millionbuy.com and found some PIONEER TSA6961R that have a Top-mount Depth 2-13/16".
So Im guessing i will have enough clearance to stra8 insert my rear speakers correct????
I need to get something now.......

Yes they should fit no problem. Anyone with a coupe want to confirm this? (I have a sedan)
Also there are vertical plastic supports near the speaker on the deck lid so you may be able to remove them if they get in your way. Just make sure the speaker doesn't hit the lid when its all back together.
