JL W0's or W3's?

Wanna get 2 JL 10's for my ride... Ideally, I'd get the W3's... But going with W0's is gonna save me a lot of $$$(between the subs' upfront price and a lower powered amp) How big of a difference would there be when comparing the two, loudness and quality, even considering that the W3's would be getting around twice the power. Is it worth the extra $$$ for the 2 W3's? They'd be going into a sealed box. Thanks..

Well I'd get W3s. W0s just don't cut it. lol. it's not earth shaking bass with W0s. although it is alright. I had W1s (pretty much the same thing). and i was somewhat happy. then i blew my amp. bought a bigger one, and i was really happy. but the W1s couldn't hack the bigger amp. sounded good for a couple weeks then the voicecoil seized on one. and the surround on the other was beat to hell.

On the 2 you are choosing from i would 100% go with the w3's. Much better sounding, can handle twice the power of w0's, and are an all around good sub in the middle price range. What amp are you going to be using for them?? Then i can tell you what ohm configuration to get the subs in.

Hmm W0's and W3's are too expensive for what you get.. there's better subs out there for the same or less money...

Cheers

I would have to say W3's the W0's lack rms power and the W3's are better sound quality and the bass is totally different.
I had a pair of W3's and they were great , till i got my W6's in a bandpass box.

I had two 12" W3's hooked up to a JL Audio 500/1.. Thumped....... Anyways my friend has a ford ranger w/ JL audio W0's and a Fahrenheit 820-watt amp, doesn't actually sound too bad.. But definently go with the W3's.. Also, does Image Dynamics have a website? Never heard of them, looking to get new subs that hit, but not too hard.

I have a 12" W0 powered by 125W Eclipse 2/1 channel amp in a 6th order bandpass box. It sounded amazing in my Camry with a Kenwood HU. (I can't wait till I get rid of this Honda stock unit.. it sounds horrible! )

Just a little related side question.. I want more thump.. what is the biggest amp I can hook up to this thing?
