Question cluster swap help

hi, yesterday someone gave me a link for a DIY for the swap. the problem i have is that the green conector need some cables that i dont know where to get them from. it says that it need a 9V. 12V. and so on. i really have no idea what are those cables and from where i conect them. and another question is that how do i insert cables in the conectors? cuz what i have been doing is cutting and conecting cables. i see that they need some kind of adapter but can i do it without it?? thanks

youve been cutting the cables? your suppose to just push the pins out and put them back in at a different spot.
