tri-way crossover for a 2 channel amp??
About the putting 2 speakers and one sub on a two channel amp...
i didnt think it was possable...but bestbuy dude said it was ...so i looked around.... and i found this.......
Tri-way crossover
its a TRI-Way Crossover..... it has two filters on it (so does my amp but this runs both at the same time i guess)---one for the sub and one that would go to the two speackers...
Anyone have any ideas on how these work and if one would work for me??
since my amp puts out 150W RMS (continuous) x 2 @ 4 ohms .......then this would work right??? ......what would the final output be.....would it still be 150w RMS x 2@4 ohms plus a sub(what the hell would that be at?? still 400 RMS bridged? )
....thanks for any help you can offer

most (not all so dont flame u guys) but most best buy future shop etc techs only have a mid to low range of knowlede of what they sell. they know how to set it up. mostly. and how **** runs. but as for SQ qualioty, loudness clearness etc. most of them are clueless. BUT NOT ALL DAMNIT
lol

Yeah, don't do that. I dont' think you'll be happy. Just the idea of not having subwoofer control would be enough for me to kick that idea to the curb. If you cannot afford a decent mono amp to power your sub, save your dough for a little while. One could be had for only $100 more than that tri way that would be better than that thing.
wow ignorance is bliss
ok 3 way also known as mixed mono.if you go to and decent rockford fosgate dealer they should have a "wall of bass display".Our shop has 16 p2 12in subs and 4 rf6x9s running mixed mono off of one fosgate T3002(150x2watts).and this system shakes the walls, and will run all day log and not shut down. this has been done and done well for many years. most high end systems used to be done this way. i have never inspected the pac crossovers but there are some higher end crossovers that sound awsome. so my advice to you is, do some research and educate yourself.
