Rep Power: 0 I def. agree with infinity for the speakers.. I have the infinity full range (6012si) and they are awesome...
for the sub and amp.. I use Hifonics amps myself..cause they are inexpensive but very powerful for the money...and subs I would recommend... IDMAX, Infinity Perfect, JL Audio...personally I have alpine type r sub and I think it is one of the best buys for the money.

Rep Power: 0 I want it as loud as i can go with only two 12's and four in car speakers just to replace the stockers. And as for price rang about four to five hundred on the four in car speakers and alot more (i dont know at the moment) for the amp and subs.

For metal you want tight, crisp bass. For the drum hits mainly.
Infinity is perfect for any kind of rock.
Also JL, Eclipse, Alpine would work.
Stay away from Sony and probably Rockford Fosgate and get something cleaner.

Rep Power: 0 My buddy has all Memphis PR highs and an Audiobahn A8002T and two AW1251T's in his Chevy 1500. He listens to nothing but hardcore stuff and it actually makes it sound somewhat tolerable.

Rep Power: 287 so the over-all consensus is infinity all-the-way for sq, but i got them for their customer service, i bought a sub off ebay and it blew. They replaced it with no reciept, i just had to pay shipping. and now my 10 speakers have some bass to go with it lol.

Rep Power: 304 Everyone has civics and neons, and they all suck
Infinity is a low/slightly above entry level speaker. I would suggest going to something better.
