how many channel needed
sup people
i have a infinity component in front and infinity 3-way on rear my sub is JL audio 2 10" W0. my question is how many channel (amp) i need to power all of this. i want a f/r control and left/right control. i just want a little bass for my car. im thinking for 600w amp. and do i have to replace my alt. thanks for the input people.

1 5-channel amp.. (wil offer very little power for your sub.. but enough to just bump.. 1 4 channel and one Mono, or 2 channel amp for the sub..

i prefer to have much more juice running to my subs so i prefer two seperate amps. but since thats not a big concern to you, either a 5 or 6 channel would be good... i havnt seen too many 6 channel amps tho, so maybe a 5 would be best.

if im doing 2 amp how many channel for each. if im gonna get 2 amp what is ideal watts for subs and f/r speaker im trying to afoid an alt change. thanks for the input again people

try installing it yourself it's real easy... n only difference between installing 2 amps compared to 1 is you need extra pair of RCA cables, a distribution block(unless if you want to do it the hard way, two wires from the battery to each amp).
