alright here we go...i dont really know to much about amps and subs and all of that stuff...but my friend offered to sell me T610x3 MTX subs in the enclosure and a MTX Thunder 942 2 Channel Amplifier for $350...and he needs the money in a couple weeks but i cant get that in a few weeks so he is just going to sell me the subs for $150 is that a good deal?

Well if i do get these subs i dont know what kind of amp i need to get and all the accesories for it...i have a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the Infinity System...i need any help and suggestions because like i said i need to know if i should go ahead and get these subs...they are brand new

well it depends on how much money you are willing to spend.
if you have a lot then go with jl audio w7 12 inch or 15 inch
if your on a budget then get some alpines

Do NOT pay that much for that equipment. You could easily snag that for 200 somewhere else.
MTX is not "crap." There lower end products aren't too hot but they actually make great amplifiers. Any subs 5500 series and up are actually very good as well. Their equipment has great power handling and in many situations is almost impossible to beat for the price.
What kind of music do you like to listen to? That is going to be the deciding factor in what kind of system you should go with.

well i already got the subs for $130 yesterday i listen to pretty much everything besides country so yeah...all i need to know is if i would even need to get an amp cause my jeep right now has an infinity system in it (stock) and it has a 200 watt amplifer...im kinda on a low budget since im 16 and all and tryin to get a job im just using money out of my pocket on this...so i just need some help on if a 200 watt amp would power 3 10'' MTX Thunder 6000...thanks for the help
