I have a Pioneer AVIC-N2 that a friend of mine had pulled out of his car because he was trading it in, but the only thing is I have none of the wires just the unit. Does anyone know what I need to make it work?

you need The brain, gps antenna, dash kit, harness, wires and cables that connect from the brain to the head unit. Sounds like your friend was a retard and thought that the 60-120 dollar removal fee wasnt worth it. That or this sounds more like it was stolen.

its not stolen it was a last minute thing he was caught up in the trade i guess... this is all stuff i can get from pioneers website right?

Oh ok. The hide away is called the brain. If you didnt have that I would say it was stolen. You should be able to get the parts off e-bay or from pioneer.
