Advice on front speakers

I need advice on whether to change the set of components I have.

I currently have Alpine SRX-177, an Alpine 9815 HU and an Audisson SRx4 amplifier.

The speakers are 75W RMS and the amp is 60W RMS/channel

Nothing is installed yet and I want to replace the rear speakers as well as the front, the problem is that Alpine dont amke a coax speaker in the SPX line.

So.... do I keep the SPX's and get something that will compliment them for the rear. Or do I get rid of the SPX's and go with something like JL or Boston.

Thanks for the help

i suggest the SPR-17LP or SPS-17C2

or keep it al type X and the get SPX-17MB since the rear will only be for filling out the sound

I say just get the cheaper Alpine coaxils to place in the rear and be done with it, don't waste your money on rear speakers, they're meant to be there just for fill.
You have nice stuff there, just install it and try it out.

I agree with slick, just get yourself something decent for rear fill. If you're serious about the quality in the rear, just get yourself another set of SRX-177's for the rear and build a baffle for the 6X9 factory location.
