amp for 2 12" polk gnx

I am trying to find a decent amp for my friends pair of 12" polk gnx. They are rated at 50-175 watts RMS each http://www.crutchfield.com/S-BaJ5b1T...t=Y&I=107GNX12

He doesn't have toomuch money to spend. Looking for something around 200-250

Just looking for some options?

One I was considering, but I wasn't sure if it was going to be powerful enough was the Diamond Audio d3 400.2 2x100 at 4omhs.

Let me know,
Thanks!!

http://www.alpine-usa.com/en/product...model=MRP-M450

That one is 400 RMS in 2 ohm load (wich u can get a 2 ohm load with those 2 subs).

but other than that, it's all opinion, everybody's gonna tell you a different amp

400 isn't too much, i've seen alot of people blow their subs by having an amp alot lower than their sub. you need to know how to set your amp & know how to hear when your sub can't handle no more. some people set the gain at max and say "holy sh*t my system bass", those are the ones that blowes their subs. I have a 500 RMS type-r with a 600 RMS mrd-605 (100 watts over). and I always go a little higher on my amp then on my sub when buying setup.

thanks for the help reverb. I actually went with the Alpine mrp-m350 which is basically last years model of the mrp-m450. I got it for 130 shipped from crutchfield after the online coupon. Its 350w instead of 400w. Not too much of a difference but a great price.
Thanks.
