Is your car running when this happens, or is this with the engine off?
If its with the engine off, then its due to your amps drawing too much current, current your battery alone can't provide. This is pretty much normal if you have a big amp, been running the system for an extending time with the engine off, or if the battery is crapping out.
If this is occuring with the engine on, it could be that your ground connection is no good. Make sure you have your ground going to metal thats been cleaned off (no paint on the surface or anything crap like that).

it does it when the car is running but it isnt the amp cutting out it is the headunit cutting off. i dont think that it has to do with the ground it has been checked, it worked fantastic up until about 6 months ago. i dont know if the headunit is craping out or not but it is just annoying when i wanna bump it if it hits too hard itll cut off.
