Amp?
I have my new pioneer head unit and 2 10" 350watt/100RMS pioneer subs and all I need now is to buy an amp and to wire it all together. So what kind of amp do you recommend? I am looking to get my money's worth out of the subs and $250 HU, but still spend as little as possible. A friend told me to get a 200w lightning but that sounds like it might be too weak. The Best Buy guy said a 300-500w would work. So who will give me the most sound for my money? Also, should I get a 2 or 4 channel amp? And what kind of wire prices can I be expecting to put the amp/ subs in? I plan on going to either best buy or the local chain, audio excellence to do the head unit with dash kit and harness for around $75. Rather not worry about screwing it up myself... but I can get the amp in myself right?
thanks guys,
andrew

Okay first off are you subs Dual 4ohm or single 4ohm voice coils.?... If they're both single 4 ohm Get an MTX250D, Cheap. puts out close to 400 watts. Comes wit remote bass controll. Looks good too.
If they are Dual 4 ohm. You'll want a 1phm stable 1 channel(mono amp) or a good 2 Channel amp tha puts out 150Wrmsx2(not exactly a cheap option)..
Get back to me on the vpice coils and I'll find a you a great deal somewhere on what ya need.
Cheers

Looks good mohawk but still a little too good for me... willing to compromise some power and features for a better price. Anything in the $100-$175 price range you could recommend?
thanks for doing all the work on this one, it is really helping me out

The USX is about as cheap as it gets while still being reliable.
