i have a generic dual 12' box with .95 cubes sealed per woofer...... I have 2 MTX 5000s recommended at 1.25 sealed per woofer.......is losing that amount of cubes to a smaller box going to affect my total bass and sound ??? [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG]

I just plotted that out.. It'll sound quite good but you're gonna lose a little more low end ..won't as deep bass, but it'll definately be tight and punchy.

I'm no Mohawkboom, but try stuffing in lotsa poly or fiber fill. I remember reading that it is suppose to make up for some lost space. i'm sure it won't make up for all you lost space, but it cna't hurt at all.

Yeah,

Ed's right.. Polyfill will be a great help for that.. Cheapest place to But Polyfill is at Wal Mart.. Buy one of those HUGE body pillows $8.. take the stuffing out and fill the box lossely about 3/4 full...

Buying Polyfill alone is more expensive than the giant pillows [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]..
