Cool Startled

I dont know if this is an electrical problem or not, my igniton doesnt seem to stay on when I turn it to the 3rd positionthe car starts then it returns to the 2nd position and the engine shuts off,I replaced the igniton cylinder, but the car does the same thing with the new cylinder,Im now useing a monkey wrench to hold the key in the 3rd position so i can drive

doesnt that keep the starter engaged? You could always use a manual switch to power up the ignition wires. You'll still need the key to allow the immobilizer to disengage.

Either the ignition switch is broken or there is in open in your ignition wire somewhere. That would be my buess. Did you recently hook anything up to the ignition wire?

Also, maybe someone else knows, is there an ignition wire fuse that could be blown?

not a fuse issue, he can drive if he holds it in the start position, so something internal isnt keeping the ignition line powered up.
