Have IDMAX v.3 D2. What amp suits it best?
Hey I'm lookin for an amp that will fit my IDMAX D2. I'm going w/ a sealed config in 1.5 cu ft. I have an audiobahn a2x600hq high current amp but that sucks power so bad, i would like a more efficient amp for the sub that won't kill my electric system (why i got rid of the 2nd IDMAX). I had a batcap 800 and that wasn't keeping up with it either. so I'd like a class D or something.
Should I wire it as a 2ohm load (on mono amp) or a bridged 4 ohm load (on 2-ch amp)? would 4 ohm be smarter? I can spend about $500 on the amp.
Just trying to figure out how to put my sub in without my lights dimming and still sound good.
thanks!

honestly I had a Phoenix gold 600.2 and 1200.1 that would push that sub to death but also i've moved to jl audio so a 500/1 may give you what your looking for . Mine was rated at 768 watts at 1.5 ohms to 4 stable so no matter the range it pushes the same
