Window/outside weather strip HELP

Window/outside weather strip HELP
Ok, I put a .5" spacer on the front window track to help install 6.5" speakers. The problem I am now facing is at the top middle of the outside weather strip. It hits the clip and tries to rip out the clip. I removed the clip and re installed it. The 2 on the ends seem to be snaped in and will not budge but the 2 in the middle can be pushed a little back and forth. I didn't know if the 2 in the middle should be sturday and cliped to the door, or just a clip on the weather strip.
