I can't seem to figure it out. Whenever I have both my amps for my subwoofer and highs hooked up, they'll both go into protection mode and shut down. And it usually takes like a day for them to turn back on. If I have just my amp for my highs hooked up, nothing happens. My system works fine...minus the sub. So i'm thinkin it has something to do with my amp or sub. I have 0 gauge power wire. Jbl BP1200.1 to my 12" RE Audio XXX. Some Audiobahn amp for my highs. Highs= RE Audio components. I have a capacitor for my sub. Stinger SPV35 battery. And a circuit breaker up front. Any ideas on what it could be? I'm thinkin the 0 gauge wire takes too much power from my battery and the alternator can't keep up...but idk. Could it be my amp is faulty? Any help is appreciated. Thanx.
did you start to tune the sub amp with the input voltage all the way down, then turn it up slowly, i started mine at 3/4 the way up and it was drawing too much power and going into protection because my voltage would drop like crazy, but when that happens it should turn back on right away
