I Def tried the screws but they were spinning and not going anywhere.... an hour later and a phone call to a installer friend, he told me they might be striped... i drilled out the screws, (they were striped) and the head unit slid right out, thank you, I was fighting it non stop for about an hour and a half. I did however have a sucessful install of the ipod interface, although i am a little disapointed in its features, No titles, no touch screen operation.... im a little disapointed, sound quality is awesome though.

damm i was hoping with the avic n1, the ipod interface would be better. I have it on my 8600 and its ok, the interface is awful. I wish they designed it so you could browse through your ipod like you can an mp3 disc
