Huge problem with vafc2! Need help asap!

ok... we got it all hooked up, but no display on the screen. What could be the problem. We used wire taps instead of solder or anything like that. Got any idea's? I bought it off madwheel who works for dezod, so it shouldn't be bad.

Maybe using the wire taps it has not made a complete enough connection.

um mine works fine with taps. check your connections. Did you use the diy?

When I installed mine with wire taps, I noticed that the power would go in and out, because of a bad connection...I went and just soldered it like it suggested in the manual...Make sure your ground is connected...The VAFC is super picky with the grounds, or you could just have a bad unit..

It worked for mad wheel, I didn't use diodes could that be why?

vafcii doesn't need diodes. i'm sure you just wired it wrong or the unit is bad

hopefully its just the wires. I think we're gonna end up soldering.
