I found out that my JL amp 1000/1, JL amp 300/4 and crossover does have any power. i dont know if this will help but theres a power on my capacitor. does anybody know what happened on my set up? help me. thanks!

So you've got power up to the capacitor? I didn't understand that part as the wording was tricky. If this is the case, test the wire coming off the cap and see if it has power. Or, remove the cap adn hook everything up. If it works, it's a problem with teh cap. Try checking all your connections to make sure nothing is lose, or broken.

Digital multimeter is your friend.
Did you connect your remote turn on? Try switching the amps to auto turn on or whatever, see if anything happens then.

check your remote line.....thats probably your problem. You may have forgotten to hook it up when you did your HU. And if it is hooked up.....get a voltmeter to make sure its good. A while ago I bought a head unit....and for some reason....the remote wire was the only wire not getting volts. So i sent it back...got a new one..and it worked. Also....some HU's have 2 wires that look the same. One is the remote...the other is usually power antenna. (for cars that have it)...this wire is usually blue with a white tracer. I dunno what HU you have.....but check the manual it came with and it will have what wires are what just to double check. If none of that works....take it back to the jackass that installed it. Or....if that doesnt work...just give me your amps. lol
