whats the best speakers/subwoofers for SQ?
I dont like the type R's personally for "sq" applications.
realistically there are so many drivers that can do the job, there is no best.
I tried to get more specific, but I really couldnt. so many do the job, its just a matter of what kind of "sq" you want (daily driver, competiton, quality of sound, etc.), and whether the speaker can meet your requirements. that one will be the best

Honda Sales, the reason why so many people use them is because of the name is so big. No one hears of the other names out there that are really good but haven't advertised everywhere. I choose Kicker because I like them and have had great results with them. Not because everyone else uses them. In my other car i have MB Quart in my car and love them.
Last time I had this much fun some furniture got broken!

hows about a little bit more information? like perhaps a budget. I'm sure you don't want to be spending thousands on Morel Elates or Alpine F#1

Budget, music tastes, some more background information would be really helpful. I would, however, recommend going to as many shops and listening to them. Ask if they have vehicles you can listen to them in. Listening to a driver on a sound board will not be nearly as accurate in terms of knowing what they'll sound like in your vehicle.
I would recommend JL XR series coaxials for speakers. I just installed them last week and they sound really awesome. The highs are fantastic and the midbass pounds. I have them all around. About subs I don't know what to suggest because I don't think I will add a sub on my system. Maybe Kicker, JL, or Alpine. I am sticking on my subless system. I'm already happy with my XR series
