i did it!!!
FIRST OFF SHOUT OOUT TO DISKREET
WE HAVE HERE MY NEW HARD WOOD TRUNK. WITH THE OPENING DOOR AND THE MOUNTED AMP SOON TO BE COVER IN A PLEXI GLASS VENTED BOX.
THANKS 2 MY FATHER N LAW FOR HAVING THE TOOLS AND THE SPACE AND BRAIN TO COME OUT WITH A GOOD ENDING!!!
THE GOLD braces that you all see are to keep the wood from bowing in i got every thing from lowes i didn't even know that they had auto carpet it suppose to be weather proof saying if i spill something in the trunk it'll just bead up and i can get it up. it took roughly 2.5 hrs i used liquid nail and staples to hold the carpet nice and tight

looks really good!!
I prefer MDF too, if only it wasn't so heavy... plywood is a bitch to work with sometimes, it pisses me off when I get chips or splits.
