So I am wondering, are there any cd changers that support MP3 DVD-R's??? I would really love to have a 6 disc changer that I can put Tons of full albums on DVD-Rs, would really cut down on the amount of cd's i have floating around my car. Would be sweet too. CD-r/rw just dont hold enough for me. And the MP3 Cds I make only last a little while before they start getting destroyed, every tiny scratch on the ruins a good chunk of data for me, either it starts skipping or doesnt read it at all. I don't know about changers, but I saw on ebay that they have HU's that play mp3's on dvd (around 800 songs).Go to mp3playerstore.com, they have a store on ebay, or you can buy it directly on their website. I ordered a lcd screen for my car from them once and it's pretty good quality for the price, but I don't know if I would buy HU's from them.

Yeah, i'm not sure about the brand Innovatek. Looks like cheap rip off of Pioneer and Alpine. I bet that it will be the next thing to come out. Shouldnt be too long. With the prices of dvd-r burners and discs getting so cheap. I think I might check out what type of mp3 mass storage devices they have that can hook up to my head unit. Not a fan of having an ipod just sitting somewhere in a cradle or whatever. Not clean enough for my taste. I know Kenwood had/has "The Keg". I havent seen anything from pioneer though. Not sure what else is out there.

I really want to just build a Carputer, those things are sweet, want to put one in sometime in the future, but that a whole ICE make-over. Too much for my wallet right now.

Rockford fosgate did the 20GB hard drive for the car. check it out. I don't know how good it works, but I seems pretty good.

jvc makes decks that play dvd with mp3 on them

I have a NESA DVD player in my car that does it as well

hmm, that RF is kinda what I had in mind, wonder if you can swap the HDD on it...Too bad there isnt a way to hook up a PC external hard drive up somehow...A nice 200 gig would be perfect!

20GB is enough for music, I have 4000 songs on my computer and it only takes up 17.2GB.

yeah, its not bad, I'm at 16.6 gigs, doesnt leave a ton of room for expansion, but i thought I had more. I wish I could play with it. I think the contols for it will be hit or miss. I see it doesnt have FF/RW buttons, wonder how easy they made it to scroll through those 20 gigs. I'm tempted to try it out, on ebay its only 150 shipped brand new. Not bad. Would be cool if it ran off Winamp.
