Post your system layout
I know some of you (like me) have probably created system diagrams of the audio in your vehicle. Well if you have, this is your chance to post em up!!
I just re-did mine, adding in a bunch of stuff that I've installed over the last few months:

Edit: I just realized I forgot to include my second amp, grrrrrrr
, it's a Tantrum 300.2

wow it was a pain in the butt to get this pic on here but oh well. heres my setup. and i was to lazy to color code the wires so too bad. but i have to say that for a 12 inch lightning audio subwoofer bought from wal-mart for 42 dollars, it hits really really hard hooked up to my amp. i had a very nice 12 in. clarion but i blew it with this amp.
Edit: forgot to upload the pic. woops here ya go

Hahaha, I havent either! Im changing the whole system. I still have the old Type-X's installed. But I did hear them at CES and they sounded great! Good overa all sound. I will let you know as soon as I get them in.
Can only remember when I first got a pair of 17MB, the label said "Made in China".....I don't know if Alpine really "upgraded" or "downgraded" the system though.....I know that the caps, inductors and resistors has been downgraded compared to any previous type-Xs....

I think maybe it was a cost issue. No biggie if I dont like the sound I'll keep the old Type-X's since I love the sound of those.

Heres my layout, the sub and amp just arrived, and i'm having everything in the trunk fiberglassed in and painted the same color as my car. AVIC-N1 and the rear SS65.2's will be installed at the same time as the trunk so i don't have to take it back and forth, just one big install. All will be completed by mid September.
AJ YOU SHOULD BUY MY AMP. your system will hit so much harder. and sound so much better. 350 watts to a 700 watt rms sub is not that great. especially if you have it bridged cuz then it works the amp really really hard.
oh yeah and speaking of alpine does anyone have the 12 inch type E's i think they are. we saw them at best buy. two 12's in a box and we hooked them up to a 1250 watt kenwood amp or somthing at they hit soooo soooo hard. we shook the entire store. i was really really impressed. but anyway. drew your system kicks ***. love that setup.

Thanks man, trying to do more, hopefully I'll have the SSMB6 and move the front components to kick panels for better sq. I might end up doing a center channel and having 5.1 dolby surround sound for movies and doing a 15" screen in the trunk lid to accompany the components and sub in the rear.

I have the 177A/137A's in the car now, lets see what they sound like.
